The Neurophysiology laboratory at the Department of Human Anatomy and Physiology is involved in the study of the olfactory system in mammals.

The techniques employed in the laboratory range from behavioral studies on animals in different physiological and pathological conditions, to immunohistochemistry and protein detection via biochemistry and molecular biology techniques.
